Two episodes in, the third one gets released on Netflix today (hopefully any time now).

 

I really, really liked the first two, and what a surprise at the end of the first one! Better Call Saul could be up there with Breaking Bad if it keeps improving like BB did. 

 

It's also cool watching them week by week with the anticipation of waiting for the next episode. I just binged watched BB on Netflix.

So far so good, I enjoyed the first two episodes. It's not easy for the creators though, Breaking Bad set the bar quite high.

I've watched the first episode and will watch the other two this weekend. He was clearly the best character in BB (IMO) so have really high hopes for this, it's received rave reviews too. I think they should release every episode at one go though, so I can go sloth-mode and just waste an entire weekend watching it.

Only watched the first episode so far but I enjoyed it. 

 

It doesn't feel like it is just trying to cash in on Breaking Bad, the first episode was actually pretty far removed from it and it seems to want to tell its' own story. 

Yeah, I'm glad there aren't endless references to Breaking Bad.

 

A subtle one now and then would be nice but it's good that its BB isn't completely in our faces.

Third episode is also brilliant.

love it's great,  just the same feel as BB, interesting, to get to know some of the back stories of the characters. shame they haven't dumped the whole series at once on netflix, like they did with BB. house of cards seris 3 starts soon!

Agreed he stole every scene he was in on Breaking Bad. Bit style over substance so far the scene in episode 2 with the coffee machine was far to long. And was great to see Tuco back that's one serious badass

You've got to love Tuco. It's a pity he wasn't on Breaking Bad for a longer period of time due to the actor being exhausted by the high demands of the role.

 

Good to see him back on Better Call Saul!

I bet the guy that plays him is an absolute gent, but he looks like pure evil.

Completely forgotten how dull it is to have to wait a week between episodes. Burning through a season of Game of Thrones in the time it takes to wait for one episode, but it's excellent so far.

 

Is it supposed to be going for a few seasons because I could see something like this being told equally well as a mini-series.
