I'm watching Liverpool, and the difference between them and us is massive. Midfielders pick up the ball, they run into space or through small gaps, then play a forward pass. Doesn't matter how many players they have around them, they look for the progressive pass or run forward. Wingers pick up the ball and immediately attack the box, with players ready for the cut back. Midfielders quickly hit it wide when they see the pass. Goalkicks take 3 passes to move passed the half way line with midfielders or wingers running at the defence.
As I type, they play 3 quick passes from their own half and win a penalty.
We will never progress until we bring in a manager that moves us on from this slow and overly complicated football.

It's actually funny cause the board got the Poch appointment spot on, he is the perfect manager to give these young players the freedom to develop into top players so the board can sell for profit but of course they had to push him too far with stupid decisions and forced him to leave. 

I'm normally all for giving coaches time as I hate the merry go round of continually sacking coaches and not getting any stability.
But Maresca was a VERY questionable appointment in the first place and now my fears are being realised. He's out of his depth and is just a yes man to those above.
It's a complete mess and I know we need to get rid of the SD's but I would still get rid of Maresca. I know many didn't rate POCH but we really should have stuck with him rather than gamble with this fraud.

Good point. His public criticism of Madueke was terrible both in terms of thought and timing. It came after a game in which he had scored and was voted MOTM in the matchday poll on here. Why did he chose to do that to a 22 year old in  his second season in the EPL? Especially when he continually defends gash performances from Jackson and Sanchez in his post match press conferences. He has no consistency. This is one of the many reasons he has lost the players IMO.

Gutted to see how we are treating Felix. It is really a travesty when a genuinely talented player and potential game changer like Felix, is given so little game time - when players like Sanchez and Jackson continue to be selected game in, game out.
Felix has many flaws, and sure, there is an argument that he is a luxury show pony - but to not even be given a chance (3 EPL starts) when other inferior and lower ceiling players get a free pass to be sh*t game in game out is disgusting.

Watching that half play out was the most Chelsea thing you will ever see. City started terribly, we score, we get another chance to score, waste it, we stop playing, give City the chance to settle down, they do exactly that, they get a bunch of chances, we continue to crumble, they score. It happens in every game, and Maresca just stands there.

How many times does this team take the lead then play like a team that’s 5-0 up with 10 minutes to go?  They all piss me off

I honestly don’t get this team.
We pressed at the start and it caused their debutant to make an error and receive a booking, all within first 3 minutes.
If we had sustained our press I’ll bet you that centre back would have been sent off by now.
But no, we decide to sit back and let them play, while the debutant regains his confidence and he’ll probably see the game out comfortably.
