  1. People say a lot of things in the heated moments during a game. You are tense, nervous and today desperate for our team to win...
  2. Just got back from the game. There's still the same problems in midfield and Bakayoko probably had his worst game... But what a win though!! Thank f**k for that! Although things are going through a rough spell at the moment I think the players want to fight for Conte. At least that looked like it to me today. And now have heard united have have lost haha, pretty good day this has turned out to be!
  3. Few minutes in the press are trying to bait him about mou's injury comments again: "does he annoy you?", "does he get under your skin?" Pathetic and desperate journalism.
  4. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/oct/20/roma-uefa-chelsea-antonio-rudiger-champions-league Before Rüdiger’s departure from Roma, for an initial £29m, he told the German sports magazine SportBild: “Racism is a serious issue here. Incidents like the ones with [Juventus’s Medhi] Benatia and me simply happen too often in this country and that is why something must happen now. “When the Italian FA is not doing anything then Fifa must act. It is easy to come up with the No to Racism campaign but when you don’t do anything concrete then that does not help.”
  5. I wonder in what ways this situation affects the players. I don't think that this time around they are trying to force Conte out but if they knew that the board were fully behind the managers decision's would it make them take thing's more responsibly themselves? If they knew that a manager was here to stay and that if their performances weren't good enough they'd be replaced you would think they would step up more. It must be nice knowing that if you don't perform ultimately somebody else will take the heat for it all.
  6. I think it's understandable when people live a considerable distance away and also can't financially afford the travel costs combined with the high ticket prices. I do consider myself lucky to only live around 40 minutes from London and to be honest every time I go up to SB I'm just ecstatic to be there... maybe that'll tone down eventually though My dad is often still happy with the chance to go considering friends he used to travel up with before I was born have now all moved away. The only thing that gets on my nerves a bit are friends of mine that live close but have never chosen to take the train up even once. (One friend in particular, a spurs fan that is always giving me grief about Chelsea whatever chance they get despite not even going to a cup game. You'd think if you'd live an hours distance you'd be able to make it to at least one game in your lifetime )
  7. Just introducing myself... Younger supporter, been watching Chelsea all my life thanks to Dad who's been going to the bridge regularly since about 75'. Been lurking on here for a while so hope to contribute a bit now & talk to other Chelsea fans
