Random Rumours
He is Newcastle's best player other than Bruno Guimaraes and they most likely wouldn't sell him for that prize, with what kind of money we paid for players clearly less skilfull than him, i think we should sign him if he was really available for that prize. He had the most dribbles in Europes top 5 leagues this season and was often alone against the whole defense of Newcastle's opponents, therefore his scoring statistics aren't great. We definitely lack such dribbling ability in our offense and i would prefer him to most of the players the media connects to us.

Armando Broja
Broja has a contract til 2026 with us, is just 20, one of the best strikers in his age bracket, played a solid campaign with Southampton in his first full Premier League season and at times showed real top player potential, combining explosive pace with physicality, even though he lacked consistency and still looked a bit raw which is to be expected given his age(not that the majority of our offensive players offered consistency in the league anyway), so it would be extremely short sighted and really stupid on football and business terms to sell such a player in such a circumstance. If like suggested we would sell him for £30m to West Ham so we could acquire Richarlison for £50+m(+higher wages) from Everton it would be a real clusterf.uck decision. I mean if we look at their profile a competent sporting director would most likely prefer to sign Broja if both players cost the same because of the bigger potential upside in Broja's development and from reading the comments here i think the majority in this forum would prefer him to.

Raheem Sterling signs for Chelsea
I share the opinion of the people who don't want to see Sterling at Chelsea. He is a good player with good statistics, yes, but in my opinion the cons outweigh the pros clearly in this case. Pros - He is better at dribbling than all of our offensive players, has good movement and positioning, has experienced clubsuccess at City and is an England international. Cons - He is on 300k a week, which is definitely too much for a player like him and we have in Werner a kinda similar player to him on almost 300k a week on our books already, even if Sterling is technical superior to him to me this would make no sense. -We don't have creators of the same caliber as City in our squad, which means there is a big chance that Sterling would underperform like our offensive players bar Mount did this season. -We would have to pay City the Fraudclub a high fee for his services, for which they than would sign a younger player with higher potential as a replacement, which would make us look like idiots in the public eye again and asks the question why we didn't sign their replacement player in the first place. - He has a potentially toxic personality which could have a negative effect in the dressing room. His extremely unsportsmanlike conduct on the pitch is not a secret. There is a clear reason why many football fans think he is an a-hole and have a negative opinion of him. - There are younger more interesting players on the market, even Gabriel Jesus of City i would count as such, who i think would fit our system better. Of the players timetowaste named i find Nkunku, Leao and Raphinha are the most Interesting, Leao maybe seems a bit raw. In my opinion the biggest criteria for any player we sign should be that we can sign them on marketrealistic fees and wages. In my opinion it would be ridiculous if we learned nothing from the Lukaku debacle and make the same mistake again.

BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Hello, I didn't really came to participate in this Forum after signing up 3 years ago, for whatever reason, but because of the situation in which the Chelsea Football Club is in right now, I would like to have an conversation on this topic to know, what the opinion of the fans is overall on this situation and if the fanbase have ideas to influence the decisionmaking on the future of the club. I became a fan of Chelsea in the Abramowitsch Era and I think that the majority of the fanbase view Roman as a great owner of the club based on the standing the club has right now in world football and the success the club has had in the last two decades. It is obvious that his decision to sell the club is motivated through the political situation in the Ukraine which sees him facing sanctions from the British government, because of his connections to the Russian government. With the Well-being of Chelsea FC in mind, I share the opinion that Chelsea and Roman deserve better than him getting practically politically bullied into selling Chelsea, like I would like to think all fans do. I really dislike the thought of Chelsea getting owned by sh*tty American owners who possibly have no real passion for football, who would be mainly motivated by getting money out of it and diminish the competiveness of the club under their ownership. I am not really educated on how things work in this culture, but I think the future of Chelsea FC should be decided by the people who care about Chelsea which are the fans and the people connected to the club. If it would be my decision, i would want Roman to stay the owner of the club, with the fans supporting him through this period, or to find a progressive solution. A panic sale based on a political situation which neither him nor the club is responsible for, is in my opinion absolute bullsh*t and shouldn't happen. Unfortunately I am not a societal person, so I don't know any practical moves to end the War in Ukraine, or to mobilize the fans to influence the outcome of the potential sale of Chelsea, but I think the fans should be proactive in this matter, cause it is in all of our interest that a good quality solution is found. Does anybody here know how to get systemic moves done to influence such a matter? Or how or where you contact the right person for it? If somebody here is established in this culture and could initiate something that would be great. Thx for reading
