  1. “The Holocaust showed the world what can happen when hatred is allowed to thrive unchecked,” the participants say in the 52-second video. Together Chelsea FC and the World Jewish Congress are working together to say no to antisemitism and to giving a red card to hate. “We must make it clear that there is no place for religious, ethnic, or national-based hate both on and off the pitch. That is why we support the We Remember campaign for International Holocaust Remembrance Day. And you should too. “If we all learn from our past, we can build a better future for all. Together, we remember.” https://www.theguardian.com/news/2019/jan/16/chelsea-launches-holocaust-awareness-weremember
  2. I think it has something to do with Giroud being a target man, he's good when we launch diagonals into him in the box, but when he's asked to come deep to receive the ball he's slow as f***. The false 9 is (apparently) supposed to drop deep to receive the ball, but it needs a player with high mobility, which Hazard has, but maybe not the tactical discipline to work the opponent's defensive line (it isn't his natural position, IMHO). Or something like that. Hopefully that's where Higuain comes into the equation. Giroud suited France because they played with a target man up front, with Griezmann just behind him.
  3. Abstract thinking... blasphemy!!
