  1. I hear yoga and meditation have helped a lot of people with anger issues. And ignore.
  2. Werner gets there. No support. Has to wait for teammates. MC gets back to defend. Where is the support?!
  3. I actually want to see more goals. The players deserve it. The manager deserves it.
  4. LOL That is all. Make it 10 and fire Frank.
  5. Werner actually looks good today. Rest of the team (excluding Pulisic) ... not so much.
  6. Even the greatest players don’t always make the best coaches. Different sport, but look at the great Wayne Gretzky — indisputably the greatest hockey player, but also indisputably a colossal failure as a coach. Adieu Frank.
  7. You can actually hear the commentators smile as they said “City so fluid in the attack.” At least try to mask your bias dude.
  8. Just our luck. Edit: these US commentators really love Man City. Must have been hand-picked MC fans.
  9. Just play a game of FIFA 21. Don’t even need to wait for the actual game to find out the hard way. ?
  10. Just saw the replay. You’re right. It looked fine live — but the replay tells a clearly different story.
  11. I take that back upon seeing the replay from another angle. That should be a pen. Contact was with the player first. And now the shirt pulling outside the box to boot? Come on ref!
  12. Good positioning by Timo. Maybe a foul in La Liga, but I don’t see how that’s a pen in EPL or Bundesliga. If he keeps this up, his fortunes could turn around.
  13. Ecstatic that Werner is in the right position this week! Let’s see what he can do! I don’t expect a goal, but I certainly expect him to look more comfortable and at least look menacing!
  14. Just, please, I beg you, Frank, use Werner correctly. Sometimes I wonder if Frank confused Werner with Mueller — thinking he got a player who can play any forward position. Werner is still getting used to a new country and a new league — but I’m confident he will produce if used correctly. Just use him correctly!
  15. Thank you my friend! ?
  16. Since I’m across the pond, though I’m mostly an ice hockey fan (Let’s Go Rangers!), I’ve been a Chelsea fan ever since I started following the EPL in 2004. I’ve always loved football — it is the beautiful game after all — and once NBC started broadcasting EPL games every weekend I was finally able to closely follow the league. Then came the challenge: which team to follow? It’s a bit lame or superficial, perhaps, but a) Chelsea’s kit, badge and stadium have been my favorites; b) I loved the culture that Mourinho had instilled at the time; c) I always played as Chelsea in FIFA; and d) the Terry-Lampard-Cech-Drogba core was sublime. So, while I don’t have a rich history with the club, I’ve been a loyal fan since 2004, though I couldn’t follow very closely from 2007 through 2012, as I was in university and then starting my career in finance, which guaranteed zero free time. Still, during that time, I continued to bleed blue — and I will forever continue to bleed blue. Come on Chelsea! Some football relationships: - Lampard is my all time favorite Chelsea player - Miro Klose is my all time favorite player - Werner is my favorite summer acquisition - I will always have a soft spot for Mourinho - Die Manschaft is my favorite national team - Screw Kepa
