It's true though. You just can't get back to normal after such a break. It's a fight and one of the biggest tasks for a manager to keep a title winning team winning. It's almost impossible with a young squad, that's why you don't see many of them at the very top season after season. Have you ever wondered why the UCL wasn't repeated for ages or why so many World Cup winning teams don't qualify for the next tourney or go out in group stages? It's the flip side of the coin. Tuchel does a good job, they will only be stronger next season.

I think the team plays a wonderful season to this point. Such a young team after winning several trophies and the CL usually go bankrupt mentally. It'sa ride on the edge but the team is there fighting.

You may not know but Kai Havertz was formerly playing as a 10 and play maker, he was then more or less transformed into a support striker but his biggest strength is his vision and passing ability and therefor is best when he has movement in front of him. The team would lose stability with a real 10 though, no matter who would play this position. I am with Tuchel, I don't believe that a bit more creativity would be worth the less stability.

I would take Werner and Jorginho over Hazard and Fabregas in a heartbeat.

Imo it's a win of a CL with a decisive goal. That really is not easy to work out mentally for a young guy like Kai. The signing of Lukaku also thretens Kai most of all attacking players in the squad. Add a poor runf of form to the mix and you have the current Kai situation. But it has in my eyes nothing to do with developement or for godsake talent. He's one of the finest talents out there.
