Hes there to hit the english quota.. But couldn't we have just done that with one of our academy keepers? My thinking is probably that it will kind of waste the career of a young upcoming keeper by just having him warm the bench, whereas at least an older 3rd keeper wont have that issue.

Doing a good job so far selling/releasing players this window, but there are still a lot of fringe players left in the squad that will need to be moved on sharpish. Academy players are being sold, which is partly what its for - Cultivate young talent and sell them on as not every player can get into the first team.. However there were a couple of names that I didnt want to see go like Bate and Livramento (who actually hasnt gone yet but looks like he will) But the likes of Peart-Harris, Guehi were good business as I didnt think they will hit the level to get into the first team anytime soon
