I'll tell you an example of a great stadium refit... Ashton gate, Bristol city's new stadium built on the same land possibly they bought some houses to make the space for one end but something similar would probably be the quickest way to turn the bridge back into a building site!! I think 50-60k attendances will be sold out if we extend to that sort of number, possibly with clever seating (like Bristol) we could cram in 5k extra a stand Then its simply about like others have mentioned the infrastructure around the club to facilitate larger gates, However what I'd like to know is at what point does the gov/council/planners decide 'right that's too many, We now require you to build bridges (Civil engineers dream/nightmare). Then it goes to the opinions into the hat with regards to the extent of how many more seats everyone wants. i.e. "right lads we can extend it by 25k but means giant infrastructure expenses or do we just try and fit in 10-15k extra seats but for a lower cost and quicker turn around...." VERY interesting, Is the source reliable? I ask that as even a billi wont be enough just for an entire new stadium but £500m would cover atleast 1 maybe 2 new stands and £500m for transfers is a start esp with our academy starting to really produce...

The worry would be that they just sit on it and use us as an asset like buying properties etc hoping one day to sell it off for even more, However if they want to make a profit and keep a top valuation then one would assume keeping the playing squads tip top magoo has to be a priority. Otherwise some of them have the idea of a safe way to store money and have a golden goose in the portfolio evenually selling it on again to whoever for a smaller profit before they all retire to their stunning estates!

I think the only question I would have is like I've seen others ask would be where they're getting the funding from and how much? If thats all not an issue and we all ignore the liverpudding stuff it could well be chicken dinner. I cant see those two wrecking the club even if corruption is Coe's middle name!! I've seen people saying Bruce Buck and Marina are having a say in the sale and that things like agreements on the details i.e spending and stadium etc are being done or atleast seriously considered but part of me after how the government have done all this feels they have the main say which could see us be in a much worse situation, Cynical part of me thinks that's what's really going on tbh. We could use some solid deets from the supporters trust with regards to the bids For me, I think I'd prefer supporters to own some of the club and take a lesser billionaire like candy over potentially the biggest bidder but ends up using us as an asset like the rest of the big boys! (Although potential squabbles could arise) Bayern Munich over man utd in terms of how the clubs are being run etc I'd also like to see a serious reduction in ticket costs, A bid that includes agreements to expand the bridge ideal.
