  1. The Bruno doesn't fall far from the Potter.
  2. I said in January that we should sign Evan Ferguson. Regardless of whether we sign Nkunku, we should bring in this young lad. He's going to be quality, and I've no doubt he would be doing a job for us now if we'd signed him a few months back...
  3. I couldn't see him doing that either. Where's Gus at?! I would personally *hate* to see us appoint Pochettino.
  4. I've been watching Serie A when I can this season. I think he's doing a good job with Roma and they're playing decent ball (at a time when Serie A is the best it's been in years). And he's had a strange couple of jobs before that – United backed the players over him, and Spurs are just Spurs. I'm not convinced the "outdated tactics" argument, which I've heard quite a bit, is entirely accurate. I'd love to see it anyway. Plus his family still lives on London, right?
  5. Nope, I'm with you there. I don't think there are great options available right now. I know Nagelsmann is seen as one of the best young managers around, but his age and German-only experience concerns me. I personally think a Jose return would be great – steady the ship, commands respect so will get an immediate reaction from the players, and is a born winner, despite the difficulties he's faced over the last few years. I'm sure most fans would be happy to see him back home.
  6. Nagelsmann's age makes me a tad nervous. Anyone for Jose Part 3?
  7. Boehly might be a bigger problem than Potter... He sacked one of the best managers on the planet in TT, brought in a mediocre manager (who's proving his mediocrity with decisions like playing one of the best RWBs in the sport in a back 3, with 2 CBs sitting on the bench, and continuing to play C2). He spent crazy money on unproven players, gave the mediocre manager a stupidly long contract, and is sticking with him despite the fact that all signs point in the direction of "this man is in way over his head". Hopefully we'll move on from Potter soon. But Boehly will still be the owner. The perils of being taken over by Americans.
  8. Might Potter turn to his old club and nab Evan Ferguson before the Jan window closes? We need a striker, and this lad looks like he could be the real deal...
