Chelsea v Bolton (PL) 29/12/10 KO 19:45 GMT
hello, trotter in peace. Looking forward to the game tonight, if a bit nervous. Although the clean sheet on boxing day may have given the impression we defended well, it was mainly down to Odemwingie's woeful finishing. Trepidation, although I hear the Elk is out? ' Another thing I'm worried about is the absence of Lee Chung-Yong, who is off on Asia Cup duty. He's been excellent this season both forward and defensively. There's been alot of chat of putting Matty Taylor on the right and Petrov on the left. If that happens, whoever plays on your right side will have a field day: Petrov hasn't tracked back since 1993. I'd be comfortable putting Elmo there instead tbh. Anyway, best of luck after tonight. Chelsea 5 - 7 Bolton

The ground is situated next to a big shopping complex, so a lot of fans generally park there, or in the big car park outside the ground If not, there are a load of little car parks dotted nearby. Your best chance is to head to a pub called barnstomers, on the other side of the main road to the stadium. link here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/place?cid=61...omers%2Bhorwich If you can't get on the car park there, there are another two or three next to it. Parking around here usually ensures you miss most of the traffic too. Which is nice.

Might well be - there are a few factory things around the ground but to be honest never paid attention to their produce! It might be home fans only at Scotts...cannae be too sure. however, I went to a friendly vs Hibs in pre season and away fans were definitely allowed into the pub next to scotts. Either way as has already been pointed out, Beehive is another option. If you get desperate, just go to Tescos and loiter around outside, drinking cans of strongbow like an untolerable youth.

Good day noam. The ground is pretty far away from the town centre, so you're best getting into local boozers near the ground. The obvious ones are Scotts Bar and Brannigans, which are in between the ground and the train station. Next to a Holiday Inn, or similar hotel, as well. Cannae miss em.

Chelsea vs Bolton (CC) 28/10/09 1945 KO
Hello, Wanderer in peace. We've not reached the dizzy heights of the Carling Cup latter stages for ages, and I feel that our longevity in this years competition will end on Wednesday. As much as we have improved of late (and that is alot), our defence is still very leaky - particularly Ricketts and Knight. Ricketts offers a good attacking outlet on the right but has clearly graduated from the Glen Johnson school of defending, whereas Knight takes about 45minutes to settle, which just isn't good enough. Still, I expect a strong side from us - if it ain't broke don't fix it etc. - and can see goals coming from both sides. Sadly, most of them will be going into our net. Probably a 3-1 or 4-2, but meh, it was good whilst it lasted.
