  1. Given a choice, Drogba to score more than Rooney and in so doing winning the League, but as we do not have a choice, Chelsea to score more than Wigan and in so doing winning the League. Simples  Actually does anyone know if goals scored in the FA Cup are also included (with the FA Cup final still to come), have not really been paying much attention to the Golden Boot or Golden Glove competitions, Cech is also there or there abouts?
  2. Yeah I did seriously consider Sheva, but he did score a peach of a goal against Spurs, so that gets him off in my book, and it was not his fault that we paid all that money for him Spackers, well every time I hear his name I see him falling over or passing the ball to the opposition so, no he has to go in in my team Its funny but since I have found this site I have recalled some of the great results from the recent past when we where at best either second division or fighting relegation. My family moved North of the border circa 1977 (forces kid) and we ended up at Leuchars (near St Andrews) Watching the English football was difficult, had to trudge to one of the seaside pubs in the East Neuk that could pick up the English TV, still remember Dixon scoring against Man United in the first minute of the game as we entered the pub, then watching us defend for 80 plus minutes for a victory at Old Trafford, the defending was good and Pat Nevin took great care of the ball when he had it, teasing the United defence time after time on his own (behind Zola he has to be one of Chelsea's all time greats, where did he come in the poll of great Chelsea players ?)
  3. OK had a little time to think of a few dandies Beasant Rougvie, Bogarde, Hall, Wickes Spackman, Laudrup, Sidwell, Boyd Pizarro, Fleck
  4. Hmm, slightly controversial to some i am sure but I would put spackman in there, I have video footage of spackers somewhere missing the ball and falling flat on his arse in the Stamford Bridge mud, he was either adequate or absolutely crap at best but always a laugh to watch (never looked like he could run never mind kick a ball) Last time I saw him play was for the teddy bears of Glasgow (Rangers) and he looked half descent ! I would also of put Rougvie in there, schooled by Alex Ferguson at Aberdeen in being at best a clumsy oaf,(who can forget that classic tackle v Shef Wed that made it 4-4, and Wednesday had some pro crap artists back then, Sterland, Lyons jeez..)
  5. Just a quick hello to everyone, only found this site today, I was really impressed with Joe Coles performance on Saturday, at last a player who will run at the opposition and take a man on. He will defo give us a creative spark which has at times been missing this season
