Away match allocations
we do about 15 to 20 games a year, mainly awy in the north or midlands with the odd home game and the odd fulham /west ham away etc.For northern away games you get higher loyalty points especially in the cup. This means you will get more{much more points} than someone who goes to all the home games but no away games even if they have been to twice as many games as you.Works for me being based in Harrogate and I got all the Man Utd games(only just) and Spurs at home last season.I got Arsenal at home the year before as well.Never been ever to get Arsenal away though.I remember Newcastle in Carling Cup was 7 points last year, and a junior ticket was only £10.I took the hit and purchased the points never intending to travel down to the match..Makes sense to get in touch with other people and use each others memberships

Away match allocations
900 extra tickets now available for sunderland .As I said it is down to the individual clubs.....this time chelsea. They were unwilling to stump up for the full 3000 in case they were only gonna sell 2000.As the initial 2000 sold in less than 2 days(members) then they see it as less of a risk and so pay for the rest of the allocation that the premier league stipulates.3000 is considered the norm and segregation issues will always be raised if 3000 does not meet the required percentage for away fans..In the FA cup a bigger percentage is always offered. eg Leeds taking 12k to old trafford a couple of years ago, chelsea taking 5k to coventry/barnsley etc.Teams like Wigan and Blackburn will always offer 4/5000 on a sell what you can basis because they would struggle to sell the empty seats anyway

Stoke Away - Anyone Going/Fancy Meeting For A Pre-Match Pint?
Little pub on leek Road called The Terrace.Come out of the station..turn right. At the main road turn left and 200 yards or so down on your left.It is a student pub so ok and there is always a few chels in there{not a lot though} but no stoke more impotantly.city centre is a no go and the harvester by the ground is too busy/mixed plus you may not get in.5 minute taxi ride from the terrace then straight on to the concourse which is always liveley. My brother is a villa fan{dont ask} and we always do the villa chelsea matches with him and his mate home and away, and we have a laugh ....so you may want to join us

Away match allocations
i think you will find that the club were offered the statutory 3000ish but would have to pay up front for these and would lose money if they were not all sold.hence they go for the lower amount....we do sometimes struggle to sell out at places like sunderland , newcastle etc.unless we are on a real run of form or something hinges on it..dont be surprised if when the initial allocation sells out quickly, more suddenly become available.Places like wigan and blackburn will do it slightly differently because they are desperate for every body through the door and there will always be up to 4/5000 available.
