  1. Vidal is quite a center midfielder for Leverkusen. He's not exactly lightweight like Ramires. He's capable of shooting from long range and making defensive challenges but to be honest, he's not the best in them. His pace and penalty-taking skill are great assets though. I've never seen him play right-flank so I think he'd be like Essien in the center but without the headers. You know that even though there are a lot of attacking options upfront, this guy can and will still go forward. I doubt there's much chance of the deal happening. I'm not sure if he had signed a new contract yet but he had been kissing the badge a lot when there were contract negotiations between him and Leverkusen a few weeks ago. Saying this, Leverkusen has 2 promising youngsters (Bender and Reinartz) who can play in his position, and these kids actually play full matches.
  2. I like Ballack. He's not young anymore but that's the opposite of what we look in him, isn't it? The Chelsea management is not coming off well with regard to Ballack. I mean, if the reports are to be believed, they halted negotiations with anyone for a long time, and then when they resumed it, they didn't even approach one of the senior players that's nearly out of contract? Disappointing. Good luck, Ballack! Joey, I've always thought of as a key figure in Chelsea. He may not be as integral to the team as Cech, JT, Lamps, and Drogs, but I like what he represents and Chelsea will be very different with him gone. Chances are, he'd be in another team in the premier league and it'd be nice to see if the fans still welcome him and remember everything he's given the club in the past. The big 4 are still there but I feel as if it's an end of an era. Maybe that's what Carlo wants. Now, hopefully, Stoch will be featured and maybe more of the youngsters so it wouldn't be a big blow when the seniors leave the club.
  3. No wonder Chelsea fans love him. I'm sure part of how he feels that way is because he didn't feel very appreciated by fans before when he was playing for West Ham. To go from that to how he is right now is just great to see.
