We have great admiration for him,for his commitment towards Club and the game...and he values Chelsea Fans more than anything else and plays for them

He doesn't get all the respect that he deserves...many times I feel he is intentionally being ignored by media.

But that doesn't deter him from doing what he does best...kicking the ball :angry:.

He knows how to answer his critics ....and he has delivered consistent performance over last few years...

Now people have started realizing his true value after the Double.

I hope he plays well in WC as well and silences his critics who blame him of playing good for a club but failing to perform for England .

No wonder Chelsea fans love him. I'm sure part of how he feels that way is because he didn't feel very appreciated by fans before when he was playing for West Ham. To go from that to how he is right now is just great to see.

I think it's spot on as well. Seeing some of the fans here who have perhaps supported this team for 20+ years (some way more than that) I can see that even though they might "groan and moan" a bit it's not like they say we're screwed if we're not in the lead early in the game. I wish I could be more like them. I think we're screwed even before the game even start :)
