  1. Yep, Benitez loves the 4-2-3-1! Only difference will be a faster movement of the ball, defending & movement in units - so well organised, He prefers 2 holding midfielders rather than one holding & the other being box-to-box. As for Torres, not sure how he'll facilitate him with Oscar, Hazard & Mata. At Liverpool, Gerard or Xabi Alonso used to give him the 'through pass' where the majority of his goals came from. Oscar, Hazard & Mata hold onto the ball more & prefer the give-and-go ultimatley.
  2. The clubs been surrounded with negativity the past year (JT, AVB, Clattenburg, RDM etc.) I think Sunday would be the perfect start to get back to positive ways. The fan's pessimisim at the bridge will only transcend into a nervy performance from the players. Rafa's at the helm, not ideal but hey, he's got something to prove & so does the team - that only breeds motivation. Stay classy!
  3. Met this appointment with a puzzled look. Not quite sure about it. An experienced no.2 would have been more suitable though..oh well, Boudewijn it is!
  4. I think if anyone has a point to make against Abramovich should be a seperate issue & a seperate protest but booing Rafa makes no sense. I can think of 10 managers worse. Think we all need to just show our support for now!
