Sturridge Transfer
You clearly have not been reading any of the comments people have been posting on here regarding the reading game then have you.. People were saying that he was greedy once until he got BOO'd by the entire Chelsea attendance at the Bridge and then from that point he started playing a lot more team minded... Also that shot you speak of (the one that got all of the Boos..) may well have been made from a run of his own but had no chance of going in from where he was and the defenders he had around / infront of him, so instead of being a jerk and telling himself that he deserves to have a shot because he "made the run himself" rather than crossing in the ball or sending short pass to someone who was in a better position is just stupid..

But then at least he realised that he was in the wrong... The last time I was in the stadium and he did the same thing he got just as many boos from the crown but didn't bother changing just kept on coming with the greedy play.... At least he is showing signs that he can listen.

Sturridge Transfer
Depending on his performances this season and how much play time he gets, I think he'll likely get an extension on his contract anyways.. But of course that all hinges on whether or not he learns to be more of a team player or not.. If he can do the above then I would love it if he were to say but he needs to drop the arrogance...

Sturridge Transfer
No matter how much you dislike how greedy he is on the ball (personally I cant stand it) you can't deny that throughout some of the games that he has been in last season he has shown glimmers of brilliance in what he does.. The only problem is he out does every fantastic thing that he does with stupidity... Once he gets it out of his head that it needs to be him who is in the spotlight all of the time and actually begins to realise that to be great striker... you sometimes need to pass the ball. I have no doubt that with the proper training and someone around to drill into him that he needs to stop being selfish he can be a top class striker...

This. And when you compare this one shot to the amount of shots that Rami and Mata took when there were more than one person inside the box on multiple occasions then you can only assume that between the last game he played for us last season, during the olympics and the start of this season that he seems to be listening to whatever the team and RDM are saying. For the time being, I take my hat off and applaud sturridge until I see otherwise.

Sturridge Transfer
To say that he doesn't appear to have changed so far is a bit farfetched. Against reading he actually looked like a team player for once, despite that shot that you were talking about he was passing the ball around for once.. When you look at Ramires and Mata's performance in the same game it looked like the both of them had taken a leaf out of Studges book.. Was rather disappointed to see them both being so greedy (especially Rami).

There is no chance we are going to get rid of Studge unless something is happening behind the scenes regarding the signing of another striker (which I also cant see happening this window). RDM has already said that he is happy with he squad that he has and the fact that really we dont have a tried and tested fallback option if Torres needs a rest (or heaven forbid picks up an injury). Also dont see RDM signing another high profile striker when everything that has been done in this window is designed to try and get Torres firing consistently again... Getting someone as high profile as Cavani or Falcao no matter how good they are would risk putting him on the edge again... Looking at the past couple of games we've had in the Prem (yes I know we haven't really been tested yet) we look like a promising squad to go on and lift the league cup this season, so why after all the work RDM and the squad have done thus far would you then go and risk losing that?

Any last minute wishes/business to be done
I'm sorry but the fact that some of you would actually be happy having Andy Carroll at Chelsea is almost as bad as some of the people on my twitter saying that they would be happy to have Rooney here... You are bringing up the FA Cup match saying that we were having trouble defending against him like we were having a perfect season defensively in the first place when the fact of the matter is we were struggling against a lot of teams in the Prem last season hence finishing where we did... Just because our defence looked bad against Carroll doesn't mean that we should lodge a bid for him when there are players out there who are leaps and bounds above him elsewhere we could get... Don't make the same mistake Liverfool did, based on one game he had against us.
