  1. JT, (Ant and ..) Deco and Nicolas Anelka (The Incredible Sulk) in the snow
  2. A boot in the face is the least that dirty c**t Jones deserved after his cheap foul on Bonetti.
  3. Micky Droy squares up to Joe Bugner in 1972

  10. The man himself: wagging a finger at someone; a last ditch tackle away at Palace and celebrating with Bez.
  11. Ok competition time - who would have made our hardest ever back four? I would take these two plus Doug Rougvie and Graham Roberts - what do you think?
  12. These photos are captioned as Gate 13, CFC v West Ham Sep 84. My memory is the dust in Gate 13 was before kick off?
  13. Home to West Ham 84, we won 3-0, think this is Colin Lee’s penalty. The Shed was packed and the ICF paid a call on Gate 13.
  14. Yes, but the numpty that painted the slogan didn’t check which side of the ground the TV cameras are, so on the telly the writing was upside down!! You can see it on You Tube.
  15. The Boxing Day game at QPR in 1982 was at risk of being postponed as there had been a massive dump of snow on the plastic. QPR arranged with the Governor at the Scrubs to borrow some lags to clear the snow. They did, and we won 0-2, Flash Walker and Carthorse Mayes scoring for us.
  16. And Eddie in the same match.
  17. Away at WHL Sep 84, 1130am ko, deadly Doug, John Chiedoze and Canners - our first match v them since the Cup quarter final at the Bridge in 82; lots of of our mob locked out, plenty of Hoo Hah on the Hign Road to Seven Sisters tube before and after. Score was 1-1, King Kerry for us, Falco for them, Canners had a chance to win it late on and went for a rugby conversion instead of scoring.
  18. I seem to think that Micky Droy ran a garage while he was in his later years of playing, and in Bates’ book he said he was horrified to learn that MD had a contract with the club, from Mears, to service the club cars. ‘Makes dropping him a bit of a challenge’ (or similar) he said.
  19. Bez in an outfield away shirt, not sure why?
  20. Chopper lets the referee know exactly what he thinks about Stan Bowles’ attempt to get a free kick. I had forgotten what a mud heap Loftus Road was in the early 70s.
  21. And, the trademark arms aloft …
  22. And King Kerry’s winner which clinched the Div 2 Championship
  23. And finally, the crush and sorting it out with Uncle Ken …
  24. A few photos by way of a reminder of a hot and sunny day in May 84 when a few of us went on a trip to Grimsby …
