Talking to the Opposition
Questions take two minutes to post. It's the putting together that takes a little while, you want to get in everyone's answers and usually some are better than others at posting so you want to make sure you get the best answers from the best posters and the best posts from the lesser posters. Anyway, about the game, if we play Barry and Osman together in midfield I think you'll have a field day, it must be the slowest midfield in premiership history.

Everton v Chelsea (PL) 14/09/13 KO 17:30 BST
Everton side: For once there are actual options in midfield. Hopefully Osman will be pushed out although it might be too soon for Barry. Who knows on the striker front. Both Jelavic and Kone have been garbage so we're all delighted with Lukaku. Shame he can't play. Howard Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines McCarthy Gibson/Barry/Osman Mirallas Barkley Pienaar Kone/Jelavic

Talking to the Opposition
Hello, I'm back from last year! After the success of great answers given last year and even a few signing up to our forum to continue the debate further, I hope I can ask some questions again on yourselves, Everton and the upcoming game. So... 1. Even though we've only had 3 Premier League games, how well do you think you have played this season? 2. Is absolutely everyone delighted with Mourinho making his return? Have you noticed any changes in his management? 3. What are you expecting out of the season? A title challenge? A long champions league run? Both? 4. Are we likely to see Mata or Eto'o in the game at Goodison? 5. Has there been a stand out performer in the 3 Premier League games so far? 6. Where do you think you will finish this season? 7. Who will be the biggest threat to the Everton side on Saturday (apart from lampard)? On to Everton... 8. Have you seen much of our season? How do you think we have done? 9. What do you make of our fairly new manager Roberto Martinez? Do you think he'll have success at Everton? 10. We've recently accuired Romelu Lukaku, so what can you tell us about his game (apart from the obvious 17 goals for West Brom and being a monster)?? 11. Who will be the biggest threat to your Chelsea side come next Saturday? 11. Where do you think we'll finish this season? 12. Finally, predictions? Cheers

Chelsea v Everton (PL) 19/05/2013 KO 16:00
Will it be Torres and Ba upfront? Or Torres shoved over to the left? We (Everton) will have a few position choices ourselves, no idea who's playing behind Anichebe.

Everton vs Chelsea (PL) 30/12/12 KO: 13:30 GMT
Looks like Neville might miss out as well now. Which means we're either playing a Jagielka at right back or playing Heitinga at CM. Everton 0 - Chelsea 4.

Highly likely to be injured.

Depends how we (Everton) go into it in my opinion. All season we've been attacking teams and conceding goals but winning or drawing by scoring more or equal to the opposition. Tomorrow we won't have three of our midfield. Fellaini, Gibson and Mirallas who have been instrumental to our scoring. I think if we go into it tight we can still defend as proved at Man City away where it took a non-penalty for them to grab a point. If we go into it attacking I can only see Hazard, Mata and one of Oscar/Moses tearing us apart on the counter.

Talking to the Enemy
It's the minority of Everton fans that still think he should have won a trophy in that time. We've got to a semi final and was knocked out by you. We've got to a final and was knocked out by you. I can't complain from them because you were the most expensively assembled side at the time and it really does show at the end of the day in these finals. We got to a semi last year against the sh*te and completely bottled it though. Probably would have lost to you in the final anyway the way you (or Drogba) played that day. I love him. Like someone said in this thread, if he had half or even a quarter of what you have spent without having to sell we'd be challenging for the title.

Talking to the Enemy
I come in peace Just asking some questions about Chelsea, Everton and your game against us Toffee men on Sunday for http://www.theevertonforum.co.uk/forum/forum.php 1. How do you think Chelsea have fared this season? 2. Obviously you won't be delighted with being 11 points from top and occupying 3rd place just after Christmas, but do you think you deserve to be where you are at the minute? 3. Who do you think will be the biggest threat to Everton on Sunday? 4. With the wealth of absolute quality in your team the media always focuses on individuals and you can't ignore the goal scoring and assisting from Mata this season. How do you rate him? 5. Are there any players that haven't been getting the praise they deserve this season? 6. The media treat Torres harshly in my opinion and more recently he has been scoring more regularly. How do you think he has done, this season in particular? 7. The fans reaction to Rafa Benitez coming in has been much publicised. Are any of your fans coming to terms with him or is it still jury out for 'the fat Spanish waiter'? 8. Where do you think you'll finish this season? 9. Moving on to Everton... How do you think we have fared this season? 10. Do you believe we are overachieving or underachieving in our current top 5 position? 11. Who do you think will be the biggest threat to your Wigan team in the upcoming game? Bear in mind Fellaini is still out suspended. 12. What is your opinion of David Moyes and what do you make of the job he has done for Everton? 13. Where do you think us Toffee's will finish come the end of the season? 14. Finally, predictions for the Sunday lunch time game?
