Can't wait for my trip to Anfield, when our away support will once again drown out the so called "best fans" not for the first time and despite the result.. I am telling you this now because it won't be reported...

Anyway, this is such a vital match for both teams (Andy, specialist subject the bleedin' obvious) so I thought I would build up for the weekend by surfin the net a bit at work and decided to check out Lawro's predictions ont he old bbc.

So what did this scouser predict for this must win game for both teams who are bitter rivals ? ......

Well done Lawro that's what I say, you must have been up all night on that one.

(Apologies I know the subject of Lawro has been done to death)

Speaking of things never changing, here is the Liverpool Echo's take on the "tackle" and the red:

"On first viewing it looked like referee Mike Riley had got it wrong and replays did nothing to dispel the notion, but maybe the Leeds official is just slow on the uptake because he should have sent Lampard off four years ago for breaking Alonso's ankle.

Justice isn't always instant and any sense of grievance that Chelsea are nursing today should be put into context by the fact that on that occasion Liverpool had to do without the services of Alonso for three weeks while this time Lampard will only be out for three games."

f**king history f.c. Enjoy your memories, c**ts. That and tears are all youre gonna have in May

As if Alonso is an angel. I always make a point of watching Alonso whenever I see a Liverpool match. It's incredible how much that dirty c*** gets away with. I remember his groin-high challenge on Mikel in the CL a few years ago and another on an Everton player, who's lucky his knee cap is still in one piece. If I remember rightly, neither challenge was punished.
