geezer
Watching the play off final between Gillingham and Shrewsbury makes me beg the question what is the frigging point of that middle tier if no one is going to use it for the smaller events? Separating each set of fans from their own with masses of empty red seats defies all logic though it does make it look like the Emirates 15 minutes from the end of a league game. BLUENUT
The corporates who 'own' the tickets for FA games, didn't get them for the League Play-off's, but had the first option to buy a seat in the club Wembley area. They were devided between home and away ends for the play-off's, (why they can't do this for cup finals I don't know) but were on sale starting at £85 going upto £199 with a meal etc....... £85 - £200 would sell out for bigger clubs, because some would be forced to pay it!.... but for smaller sides who have thousands of £40/£50 tickets on sale, the normal fan would just take the cheaper option. I went to watch Millwall at the weekend, their end was almost completely sold out. I went with a plan, I was thinking of hiding in the toilet for a week and coming out for the cup final. You were supposed to be in hiding therefore you don't come out of your hiding place to buy a burger, you sneak in when they're not looking and nick 'em. Yeah - but Millwall fans don't observe the smoking ban, I'd have come out of the toilets like a kipper. No doubt the middle tier will be full of c*nts again this weekend.
