Posted August 31, 200915 yr Okay, so I'm not new here (well, still new compared to some of the cronies perhaps ;) ) but... I've just completed a relocation to Vancouver, Canada, and just wondering if there are any of our members that live around these parts...I know mad_mac lurks around the border just to the south. I've suddenly found myself in the weird position of waking up to find out all the scores from the day's games...did manage to watch the Fulham game live...at 8am, which was great, but the Burnley kick off was well, well before 6am. Big credit to out North American supporters who've managed to keep the faith through time zones!
August 31, 200915 yr Had guests over the weekend from Edmonton Canada. One of them, Dave is a season ticket holder believe it or not. Only makes about 4 or 5 league games but does pretty much all the European away matches. Reasonable drinker too ;) (The few on here that know him will be well aware of what I mean)
August 31, 200915 yr BC is the most beautiful part of Canada. Vancouver is a great city as well, but it is in a bitch of a time zone.
August 31, 200915 yr yeah I'm just south of you here in WA. The Burnley game was a good one, i got up and watched it after about 2 and a bit hours sleep! I can be a pain in the rear, but it's what you have to do, I suppose. usually I go into the Shoutbox (match chat) and have a laugh in there...helps keep me awake. If you're ever coming to WA let me know... would probably be Seattle, but that's not too far for me. Llikewise if I ever go to BC. I had a mate from Scotland working there in an architects firm, but they laid him off so he had to move back to Scotland. Shame as I was really wanting to go visit him Later
