"I quite like the idea of being a manager," Lampard said, according to ESPN.

"I've got to do my badges and that's a long process, which I am trying to get my head around at the minute. But when I get the time and the will to do it, I will - certainly by the time I pack up playing because I'd love to be a manager.

"I've been fortunate enough to work with so many good managers and I'd take a lot from certain ones, a bit from others and try to put that all together.

"Obviously I'd love to do that at Chelsea but there's probably a lot of other people who would like to manage Chelsea as well, so who knows?"
