Very unlikely, Tim, because this seems to me to be a pretty woeful attempt [for him] at irony that fails due to the believability of the content as a whole. Barry’s done his best to play the dual role of realistic, when discussing our present circumstances, and satirist, with his placatory ‘almost everyone has a soft spot for Chelsea although it's difficult to pinpoint exactly when the Stamford Bridge outfit began to engender such widespread feelings of warm fuzziness’ introduction to the article. The trouble is that only those readers who know him will ’get it’ while the rest will treat the piece as a completely honest appraisal, thereby supposing him to be a bit of a Chelsea fan. Still, Barry likes to please his ‘get it’ brigade whenever he can and if we Chelsea fans receive the benefit when it backfires occasionally, like it does here, I suppose we mustn’t grumble.

I dont normally like to disparage anything your write Dorset, but I think your post was a waste of time. You should just have wrote "HE`S A BITTER PRICK". Much better.

The obligatory pop at JT also shows his true colours (Terry, who despite skippering his side to a domestic double, could be forgiven for chalking up last season as one to forget).

Speaking of true colours, if the Irish contingent left Sunderland would he still support them?
