These guys are basically scam artists. They managed to scam millions out of the Australian government with these worthless voxel engines (believe they put out a video similar to this something like 10 years ago).

The technology behind it is critically flawed for one simple reason: you cannot animate anything. It's near impossible to have anything rendered in this manner move. Even if you could figure out some way of animating things, the performance hit would be insane.

Dead end technology and the tech in current 3D cards (tesselation) can produce 'unlimited detail' as well.
