Probably not going to be the highest scores we've ever seen but their were some positives.

Cech 7/10 Commanding in the air made a couple of good stops, both goals were not his fault!

Ivan 6/10 Looked his usual self while he was on tried to move the ball forward with pace.

Cahil 7/10 Growing into the club, left badly exposed by midfield, scored!

Luiz 6.5/10 A mature performance stll chases up the pitch a bit too much for my liking.

Cole 4/10 Has been poor for most of the season, no change last night.

Mikel 7.5/10 The only midfielder in the team that played well (can't believe I wrote that)

Lampard 4/10 Very sloppy and not on the pace of the game!

Meireles 3/10 Very poor, no drive tackling is embarrasing, should of been subbed much earlier!

Ramieres 4/10 One of the worst performances I've seen from him this season, out of position & it showed!

Mata 6/10 Worked tirelessly without much success, good shot when no-one was supporting.

Torres 6/10 Another who worked his socks off, recieved nearly zero support!

Bossingwa 2/10 Both of Cities goals can be traced directly back to mistakes by him, no idea how he gets picked!

Essien 3/10 Very poor for a player of his calibre, its a shame!

Drogba 2/10 he was alledgedly on the pitch for a while!

Ivan 5/10 Has been my player of the season but after the first 10 mins before they mentioned he had a knock I thought someone had slipped a load of lead in his boots.

Luiz 8/10 My MOTM. Just lost it a couple of times on his bursts forward.

Cole 4/10 He ain't the same left back any more.

Mikel 6/10 Pick of the midfield players (for what that's worth). Still average and where was he when we were under the cosh late on?

Lampard 4/10 As poor as I have seen him. Now if only he could put one on a plate for Torres like he did for Balotelli.

Meireles 4.5/10 Slightly better than Lamps IMO. Probably gave the ball away more but not as drastically!

Ramieres 4/10 Love Ramires but last night - are you SWP in disguise?

Mata 5/10 One of his worst games. Too easily knocked off the ball and really didn't figure much. And missed a great chance to put us 1-0 up.

Torres 7/10 Better than most and shouldn't have been subbed.

Essien 4/10 He isn't the Bison we used to love. It's very sad.

Pretty close to how I rated the boys Nibs although I thought the team was put out to try to contain them which in my opinion was not the way to go about it after four straight wins,

Sturridge not starting must have made Clichys day and I would have started Drogba as well with Torres coming on for whichever of the two were not looking at the races.

It hurt us with the early injury but it hurt us more allowing them to be confident in their weakened defence so they could get the wingbacks forward far too much without cost.
