  1. Be nice if the lads put a bit more effort in for this, maybe someone should have made them watch the 70 final and replay so a little dig in the ribs wouldn't make them have to go off, Not sure if the interim has watched the last few games but Hato is probably our most in form defender ( a stretch I know) I'm past caring this season but this is Leeds, it's more than just a semi final.
  2. He'd have been suicidal if he watched what we sat through tonight☺️
  3. Sorry to come on just after the game but I've got a bit going on, Another horrible watch and possibly the most inept performance of the undeserved one's reign... Garnacho coming on after his last showing was a kick in the nuts for Derry who should have got a chance tonight. So much bad that you could go on and on so let's just hope the spirit of Abromovich haunts Egboly in his dreams tonight and he wakes up tomorrow realising a group of young players need an experienced or at least a passionate Manager to bring out the best in them.
  4. Another painful watch, Tge Manager didn't deserve the Job and that's down to the owners, No ambition. To make it worse at 0-1 he makes his usual defensive changes that are more likely to end up in us conceding than getting one back. Much better days in the old second division losing to Rotherham, at least you were gutted and still shouting for the team instead of in some mental void watching an unholy alliance of unmotivated, badly coached players that don't seem to value the shirt.
  5. Another horrible watch. If we don't get a proper manager in and a couple of experienced players to create some sort of mentality things are only getting worse. Let's hope City win all their remaining games now.
  6. It's getting harder and harder to pick a mom, Gone for Estaveo, is he the only winger we have that can go past someone instead of stopping and passing back?
  7. Sacking Managers is never a great look in quick succession but we need to bare in mind that neither Potter, Maresca or Rosenoir have a CV anything like good enough to have the Job as Chelsea Manager I'm not sure they have the CV to be number two here. We all know the owners are giving whoever manages the squad a tough task but a proper manager would get much more out of them than this. Maresca on occasion had them playing well but unless every sub he made was arranged by someone above him (which if it was, he should have walked earlier) then his inexperienced at this level cost us. This bloke for me is a step down from Maresca and with a young team I just don't think they can scrimp on manager quality. I hear the "what elite manager would want the job with this model" but if not an elite manager at least somebody with a bit of Chelsea in him, I'd love to see Fabregas here but again that's risky, I'd back him a lot easier than the lot that have lucked in here lately. Frank would at least make me feel like he wanted the boys to win and he had a tougher job when he was here than this. Coming in to manage a team with our history and standing sitting 4th in the league, still in the CL, in the FA Cup, and in the semis of the Carabao is unimaginable for a manager sacked by Hull.
  8. There's a lot wrong at this club from top to bottom but I'm convinced that if when Maresca went they brought in a proper elite manager we would still be challenging. It 's bad enough buying too many young players some admittedly with huge potential but with not many experienced players in the squad to help bring them on the only real hope is a quality manager. I think a lot of their mistakes, a lot of their can't be bothered to run errors and a lot of the all round performances are coaching issues and a top coach would be coaching that out of them. I don't see CL for a while with this approach and although I've supported Chelsea for 60 years I've become as spoiled as the newer fans with the expectancy. We all need to bring that down about three levels... We look like a mid table team and we play like a team fighting relegation.
  9. I really don't see much change over the 16 games LR has had as manager, when he came in the noticeable difference to Maresca was he didn't make stupid subs...I think against PSG he did exactly that although today our bench was so weak Delap had to come on. That said, the need by both LR and EM to change a CB nearing the end of the game fills me with the fear of another goal incoming. Our squad is week and I think our Manager along with half the squad is Championship quality. Hard watch again today.
  10. Garnacho should have come on at 2-2 when PSG were needing a goal. Horrible game management and bringing on Delap taking of Pedro who just took a chance that was dissalowed just unfathomable for me. Another team there for the taking and we get this. I don't think the manager should be at a top premiership club.
  11. Reece for me but thought Hato is growing into being a de ent back up for CuCu, I was worried when Neto started on the right that Hato would struggle without anyone tracking back against Saka but he done ok.
  12. Thats 3-0 to the Arse since Rosenior arrived despite before the game him saying he hadn't had a lot of time with the team before the cup games, certainly didn't see any improvement in this one. There are players in this team that one at a time moved into other teams would soon be good players, they are not improving here because they are surrounded by other immature young players that need coaching by an experienced quality coach something our owners don't seem to feel necessary. I hate we are playing games with no left winger to squeeze another midfielder next ho Caicedo but still keep Enzo in the team. I detest the compulsory addition of Tosin late on for no real reason. The set piece defending is based on panic and does anyone watch opposing teams and set up in training with a view to defending against their likely strategies and finding their weaknesses to attack? Europe next season is slipping away and we can't seem to challenge for anything barring most red cards. Gutted, that Arsenal team don't look like a title winning team and were there for the taking.
  13. I fear if Cucu is not available that we might see Gusto at LB trying to keep Saka quiet, I hope Hato starts but if Badashielle ends up being next to him we're toast. I'd play Neto LW instead of a drifting Enzo just for a bit of tracking back. Can't see much other than a loss here with tactics similar to the second leg in the Carabao.
  14. Exactly what I expected, score early mess about miss a couple of chances bring on some pointless subs and concede late on. He's not the special one, he's just very good at what he does? Not for me.
  15. I can't shy away from giving my vote to Neto just because he's been below par of late. We look a better side with Santos in it so let's hope he's won his place for the foreseeable.
  16. Really, blimey I said to the missus he was getting forward and looking like he wanted it more than a lot of them but didn't realise that...not much competition on the day though. Glad you're still here, hope alls good with you👍
  17. Although he was utterly crap, He never got in to a scrap So just out of pity And cos he was sh*tty I'm tempted to go for Delap. Trevor or Forfana for me, Forfana looked really upset at the end so he gets my vote.
  18. Another cup run has gone sour, We sat on their Lead for an hour, Our best had a rest Its hard to digest, Was difficult watching that shower.
  19. Horrible watch and although there was a plan, I don't really understand the thinking behind it. Playing without any real threat with an out of form cf on the right wing just felt senseless. Ambition has been sorely lacking of late and if that was the team LR really thought would do the job tonight we shouldn't expect much lookng forward. If the plan was to only try to score in the last 15 minutes then I fear the coach had never watched Arsenal play. We had ninety minutes to get level and only used 10 of them. Painful.
  20. Thanks mate, Not sure I've got any more confidence after that half...who's that bright new right winger we've got...hopefully Estaveo gets the 2nd half
  21. Any confidence I was trying to have has whittled away, no James really is a blow, just his presence seems to help and I fear if Enzo isn't having a good game our leadership is non existent. I like Santos and Caicedo but this is looking like it could be a depressing watch. Time for them all to bring out their A games.
  22. Pretty much any of the subs could have got my vote but I've given it to Cucu for his brave diving header and hunger to get on to it. Opposition players always get the hump with him as do their fans so he's obviously doing something right. He's been a bit off it but as Hato learned today, having Garnacheo ahead of you on the same flank is no easy task.
  23. All the rotation and we still have Badass on the pitch, time he was rested, I'd say for maybe the rest of the season. Forfana or Josh give me much more confidence. Bad team selection from the off, is it beginning to be a pattern that we start with the wrong team or tactics and then throw on the players that earned their places and hope they can turn it round?
  24. Could we have started with a front 3 less likely to inflict damage? Struggling to think of one. Between maracas and Rosenior they're making the utd version of Garnacheo look good. Horrible to see the way our semi final opponents dispatched Leeds and then witness this.
