hi, newbie here, I've got a flight booked for Munich, but I can't believe the hotel costs! They're £500+ for one night! Does anyone have any suggestions or know of anywhere cheap(ish)? I don'y want to stay miles out, somewhere central if possible!

Have a good look around , I've seen a fair few for around £150 - don't give up!

I would hope prices may drop in the next week or so anyway , as at least half the club fans going now won't need hotel rooms.

try looking just outside/outskirts of munich, should be cheaper and buses and trains into the city should be cheap enough

I went to Munich when we played them in 2005 CL Q/F (when Jose was banned from the bench). Stayed at Wombats http://www.wombats-hostels.com/munich/ best to go in a group of 4 and own the dorm.
