The Portuguese coach also admitted that Terry had asked for an assurance he would still be Chelsea manager next season.

"He says it would be very difficult for him to play with another manager in his career and he would like to do it with me until the end of his career, it is because he accepts my philosophy as his," added Mourinho.

"He feels comfortable with the work we do."

Mourinho said that when asked asked outright by Terry if he would be remaining at Stamford Bridge next season, he had replied: "Yes [Terry asked]. My answer was 'I think so'."

this is fantastic news. there is a reason that JT is our captain. he holds this team together, in every respect.

further evidence for me that we will look like a completely different team once JT returns!

If Terry leaves for no other reason other than J.M. leaving then the club has serios questions to ask themselves and consider which is in the best interests of the Club. A dog fight with our manager , or the future of the club as a serious force within the european game.

this is what I was getting at in another thread...is the backroom staff wranglings with Jose possibly going to cost us the heart of the team? If so, then the problem does not lie with Jose
