Upgrading Membership to Season Ticket for 2013/2014

Featured Replies

Hey,

A new member here asking for some advice. I'm hoping to purchase a season ticket for the 2013/14 season however I don't have a load of points on my membership. My question is how low do you think the points required will go to for this upcoming season?

Last year went down to 0 points even with our CL Triumph but with the return of Jose, do you see it going that far?

Thanks in advance!

I got to the box office for 8 this morning, and by the time I left it looked like about 40-50 ticket applications had either been made already, or were in line ready to submit. I have no idea how many are available, but a group in front of me in the queue didn't seem too hopeful and they were only the 10th-15th applications :-(

The current number of points needed is 80.

If its 80 available i would say there are a good few available. No idea why they werent hopeful. There will be quite a lot of members over 80 points, espicially given the cup runs last year.

I ended on 97 points but decided to stay on membership as there will be a few games i cant go to anyway and will be much easier to get away tickets being a member.

Is there much point in me being a member if I can only get to 2-3 games a season?

Usually I just buy a pair off cfcnet's ticket exchange, but it's always a bit of a gamble with getting the big game tickets.

I'm a member and go to a similar number of games (I think 5/6 games a season at the most)... thinking about it, I'd probably prefer to do what you usually do, and I'd argue there's *more* chance of getting tickets via something like that for big games because it doesn't rely on loyalty points

I've never been let down (apart from a time waster once), even got tickets to tricky away games likes Arsenal etc.

I've never been to a Chelsea Vs Spurs, or Utd though. Seen most others.
