Can anyone give me some insight on the size difference between replica and the authentic?

 

i know authentic is snuggier fit.  So let's say i wear a medium in replica? would that make me a large in authentic?

 

worldsoccershop has friends and family discount.  don't want to miss out. 

 

 

You could try supporting your club by buying the proper gear.

Behave Zola, football kits and stuff directly from the club in general is a complete rip off.  If anyone can get similar stuff cheaper I'd say good luck to them.  Being ripped off by the club regularly doesn't necessarily make you a better supporter for that club.

Chelsea megastore outsources their purchases through WSS. I've ordered from both and both came from the same shipping address.

Perhaps true, but the money is at least going towards the club and not criminal gangs, operating from who knows where and what conditions etc.

I don't buy tops any more for this reason, I'll make an exception if one is very nice, maybe!

In saying that when travelling in Colombia in September I bought two of their national tops on the street for a fiver each, but that was an exception :)

No idea on the sizes, kits over the past few years have been turned into more 'slim fit' type cuts, so you'd probably be best trying one on in a shop first if possible.

Do you mean replica vs. authentic as in the two different types of shirts that Adidas make, ie the ones the boys wear on the pitch (Techfit/ForMotion) vs. the ones that we are sold by the club/WSS/whoever (Climacool) or are you talking about the ones sold by the club/WSS/whoever (Climacool) vs. knockoffs made in sweatshops (slave skin?)?

 

If you mean option #1 then yes, the ones made for the clubs (Techfit/ForMotion) are considerably more snug and unfortunately it seems like going up in size makes them longer but not a whole lot roomier.  I wear a large in the ones sold to the public (Climacool) but even the XL in the Techfit/ForMotion are still really snug throughout the chest and gut (if you have one, which I do).
