I've probably got 2 extra tickets for Spurs
Well that sucks. Any suggestions for another pub? We were over for the Cardiff match earlier this season and the Imperial was packed, I was hoping for that same atmosphere again!

I've probably got 2 extra tickets for Spurs
I don't know if this is frowned upon or not, if so mods please delete. I'm coming over from the US for this match and I've got two tickets in hand in the West upper I bought from a friend. I'm a True Blue member and two tickets popped up on the ticket exchange yesterday in the Matthew Harding stand so I bought them with my membership and will be picking them up at the stadium Saturday morning. If anyone is looking for tickets I'd be glad to work something out with you for my West stand tickets once I pick up the others to make sure I get them. I paid face value for them and would pass them along for the same price if anyone is in a pinch and can't find tickets otherwise. On another note, I'm sure we'll go to the Imperial beforehand for pints and a sing song as I sure some of you will if anyone would like to meet up. My email is [email protected] and I've got a UK mobile number I'll be using when I get there if anyone wants to contact me.

KIT SIZING
Do you mean replica vs. authentic as in the two different types of shirts that Adidas make, ie the ones the boys wear on the pitch (Techfit/ForMotion) vs. the ones that we are sold by the club/WSS/whoever (Climacool) or are you talking about the ones sold by the club/WSS/whoever (Climacool) vs. knockoffs made in sweatshops (slave skin?)? If you mean option #1 then yes, the ones made for the clubs (Techfit/ForMotion) are considerably more snug and unfortunately it seems like going up in size makes them longer but not a whole lot roomier. I wear a large in the ones sold to the public (Climacool) but even the XL in the Techfit/ForMotion are still really snug throughout the chest and gut (if you have one, which I do).

Chelsea v Cardiff City (PL) 19/10/13 KO 15:00 BST
I think we should dispatch them with relative ease as well. I think this is a great chance for Bertrand to get some time on the pitch, I wish we played him more. I'm going to this match and bringing my gf to her first match so I'm hoping we put a few in the net and there's plenty of sound from the Shed.

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
I agree with some of the other comments that Torres really looked like he had a fire under his ass in the 2nd half, he looked outstanding. I'd also agree that we looked quite threatening and it was only a matter of time to crack Lloris' goal a second time, fair play to him he made a couple great saves in the second half. Dean got the call completely wrong on Torres' second yellow, both players led with the arm and went for the ball but that dick Vertonghen clearly and intentionally slapped Torres in the side of the head AND then proceeded to yank him to the ground by his shirt AND THEN had the audacity to roll around like he'd landed on a mine. Rubbish call and honestly a red card that I hope is appealed and rarely do I see much need for that as generally the calls are close enough that they aren't going to be overturned but the video evidence on this one couldn't have been clearer in my opinion. All that said, I don't think a draw on a day with both Manchester clubs losing is the worst result but remember in 2010-11 these early season draws are what killed us at the end of the season when we stormed up behind United to challenge for the title. Maybe our traditional midseason slump has come early?

Hi from the US
I live in the oppressive heat of Florida, how about you?

Josh McEachran
I don't think he's big enough for the Premier League, admittedly the only times I've gotten to see him play is whenever he's been in a game that's televised here in the US which obviously has been rare. He's never impressed, I'd have Mikel over him.

Hi from the US
I've been quite fortunate to make it to so many and not being there the last two seasons has been awful. I'm so excited about this new job that allows me to make it more frequently!

Hi from the US
Been a supporter for about 11 years now, used to come to a lot of matches before I changed jobs. My current job hasn't allowed me to get over to the Bridge to see any matches in a few years. I've made it to the US tour games the last 2 tours though! I'm heading over for the Cardiff match in October this year, the last time I was over the SO had just closed and I couldn't find a good pub anywhere for a pint and a sing song, any recommendations? The atmosphere in the SO was mental before big matches, would love to find something at least similar to that as I'm bringing a first timer with me. Cheers, Brandon
