Visiting Cobham

Featured Replies

Hello all! I am from the United States, but will be visiting Stamford Bridge and Cobbham this spring.

I was wondering if anyone knew when the best time to visit Cobbham is. I would love to see the players in action, but don't really know when they train. Also, is there a way to get close enough for autographs or anything? I am super excited and would love to see my favorite team in action!

Any info is appreciated!

Thanks all :)

They train most week days - unsure of the times, as I have personally never been. Your not allowed on the site, but some players (if they are in the mood) will stop their cars at the gates & sign. No guarantees though. It's a bit of a gamble

The players are told not to stop at the gates (for safety reasons) so I wouldn't rely on it.

Bit different to the 70s when I used to regularly go to watch Chelsea train – you just strolled into the training ground to watch and get autographs and chat to the players afterwards, take photos etc.  Ken Swain even gave us a lift home once!
