With the arrival of Cuadrado we got another south-american player. Oscar, Willian, Luiz and Ramirez are the others. We also got Mikel. 

That makes it six non-eu players. 

 

As far as I remember only three are eligible to play in the CL in the first eleven.

 

How do we manage that? Or did the rules change and it's not an issue anymore?

Not sure bout that rule, but mikel now has a British passport, and I'm fairly Felipe Luis has European heritage.

No such rule in the champions league as far as I'm aware (from playing FM). 17 foreign players are eligible just like in the premier league, but u-21's need to have spent 2 years at the club I believe so Zouma would not qualify.
