I am just looking for some advice for city away. I have found someone on Twitter who has 2 spares for me at face value. Now he has sent me across the confirmation from Chelsea so I know he has legit tickets and I am meeting him on Saturday before the game so will have the tickets in my hands before passing over cash.

But my question is that is there any way that this could go wrong if I have the physical tickets beforehand? I have never brought tickets from anything that wasn't official so I am very skeptical.

Use the obvious common sense.

Meet in a public place, etc.

Personally I have done this a couple of times and always been alright. Tickets have always been legit. That said I met the people on a Chelsea forum so that makes it much more safe.
