IMO Selling Mata was his biggest mistake, watching him tear it up for United is heartbreaking.

Well, The Mata issue, that's the 1st thing that he annoyed me since his comeback..  Mata only needed to do 1 mistake in a game and schurle treatment multiplied by 2 readying for him.... He constanyly made life difficult for mata, confusing him and even shoot down his confidence and break him down and broke down he did.. 

 

I tried to understand that manager has preference but I couldn't on this case because it didn't make sense.. we clearly crying out loud for creativity that season hence the struggled against smaller teams.. could have won the title had he had both mata and lukaku on board instead of chasing them away..

I have to say that season will alway be remembered for Liverpool choking but we shouldn't forget we choked too. All that little horse rubbish we were good enough to win the league and we probably should have. Games at Palace and villa were the undoing. Villa was the most damaging to the team though.

Ya but don't forget Mike Dean put on a performance that would of made Overbo blush. A good goal denied, 2 of the strongest penalty claims (and one a red card for Larson, or should of been) mixed with 2 other legit claims and all ignored just for Dean to give Altidore a penalty when he stepped on Azpilicueta foot and tripped himself, just couldn't give it fast enough. The ref handed those 3 points on a platter and had he not done that, we'd of been top of the league after beating LFC with the title destiny in our hands....

I assumed he is a prophet.

How can a team that's just won the league be in transition?. I've heard some dodgy excuses for our form but that's the worst one yet.

Leadership of the team on the pitch is 100% in tansition. Last season their was Terry, Cech and Drogba who are all serial winners and proven leaders. This season no one, considering Terry is on the bench. Don't under estimate the effects that has on the team, was probably our biggest asset winning the CL/FA cup double.
