chelsea supporters club football team

My (late) brother played for the Chelsea suppoters club football team in the mid to late 70's.

He was player of the year 76-77 i think.

After his death in 1979 a 'Kelvin Stanford' memorial shield used to be presented to the supporters team player of the year. Which at the start my parents used to present.

Just wondering if anyone had any old pictures or information about it.

I know its a long sort.

Thanks anyway.

Many thanks for the replies.

I can just about remember the magazine osgood57 mentioned. Only 10 at the time.

My mums got a picture at home of him being presented with his player of the year trophy by Ray Wilkins both had loads of hair.

Also remember going to Craven Cottage with my parents to present the supporters club player of the year trophy, after my brother past away.

Still couldnt work out why it was there and not at Chelsea.

Strange one.

Sorry no face book for me , my wife has it.

Cheers once again.
