Jeanne Moreau has shuffled off her mortal coil?  How very sad.  I have loved her as an actress since I was really young. 

So many brilliant films!  The Bride Wore Black (one of Truffaut's) The TV mini-series les Rois Maudits. She also had a wonderful cameo part in an early Gérard Depardieu film called Les Valseuses.

But the part she is probably best remembered for is Catherine in Truffaut's Jules et Jim.
