Lofty Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Just heard on TalkSport that Michael Essien is "likely to play some part in tonight's Champion's League second leg clash, having returned from injury". Haven't found any confirmation of this yet. Hopefully there'll be more news later.
TT Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Essien on sub's bench But why only on the subs bench. I think he may start tonight, but hopefully not as right back.

I thnk I should have put a question mark after the subject. Hopefully you're right, that he'll be fit enough to start tonight, and to play the whole game, back in midfield where he belongs, and where he's most effective.
Lofty Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 I'm so glad I was wrong, that Essien goal and his whole performance, and Joe Cole coming on at half time made all the difference ... COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
