April 3, 20188 yr according to metro and telegraph allegri could replace conte after the season. consudering what he reached with juventus after conte left he could be a really good deal for us. but also very similar to conte so imo there is also a high risk that it doesnt work out....
April 3, 20188 yr At least this means we'll probably end up with Dybala in a couple of years. Just see what Juve do and copy them.
April 3, 20188 yr He'd be a perfect fit for me, he transitioned Juve from Conte's 3-5-2 to 4-2-3-1 without compromising the team's performance, and as Juve demonstrated away to Monaco last season he'll play with a back 3 when the tactics suit the occasion/opponent (unlike Conte who just stubbornly uses the same tried and tested back 3 week in week out). As a club I think we may see higher player turnover over the next few years so I'd be happy if the club were to give him a long term contract. Edited April 3, 20188 yr by the special one
April 3, 20188 yr If the club really wants a manager who is a yes man, Allegri is probably the only one top manager who fills the bill. In Juve, he works with what the club brought him. The difference is, Juventus makes pretty good deals for good players, unlike us who spent 100m on the Barkleys, Bakayokos and Drinkwaters of the world. Off all the the names I have been seeing, he brings me most confidence for a next Chelsea manager. During Mourinho's final season, us and Juve both had a very familiar seasons and Allegri showed he can turn a very bad situation to a great one. Yes, the leagues are different but still, where Mourinho (then) and Conte (now) just went to a negative spiral and never looked like, they can turn it into a positive. Questions is, will he leave Juve anytime soon? He said recently that he will manage abroad after Juve, but is there any indication he can leave this summer?
