May 4, 20188 yr Hello Blue Lions... great website; been looking to join an active community like this for years and now I'm finally here. Little bit about me: Chelsea fan since: 2008 (yea i know I'm a real newbie, but I'm also American...that speaks for itself for why it took the Football Gods so long to convert me) Favourite Player All time/Current: Drogba/ Azpi (Everyone loves Hazard but I'm all about the fighting spirit of the game...no one has it more than Azpi) First Chelsea Match: 2008 Champions league semi final 2nd leg vs Tom Henning Ovrebo (yea...i know) Favourite Chelsea Moment: Torres goal vs Barcelona Most Hated Team: Manchester United Most Hated Chelsea personnel: MARINA (my hatred for this women tripled in the last 2 years) My outlook for our Club: Our time of glory through financial support is going to come to an end...at least until our Stadium is built. This will force the club to reconsider and mould a much overdue new strategy for the future success. I believe this strategy hangs upon 3 key points: 1. Hiring a manager (whoever it may be) that plays the type of football we envision our club to be playing 5-10 years from now and actually giving him some time to make an comprehensive impact on all levels of football from the Academy to the first team. 2. Utilizing our Academy properly. I know there are some people that think 17 or 18 year olds can play in our first team, but the chances of them actually finding success and confidence is very low. I like our current policy of loaning our best prospects for 1-2 years for 1st team play time. Where i disagree with Chelsea is not actually using them even though they shine for their Loan Clubs. Recently this has changed especially with Christensen and Moses and I hope in 18-19 we will see more the same with RLC and Zouma. 3. Buying one 80 million player then two 40 million players. (self explanatory and I'm sure all of you feel the same) How do we do this you ask: 2 ways to go about it- we could stink bomb Marina's car for the next 2 years (or) we could hire a Technical Director Of Football that actually interacts with our Manager more than he does with Abramovich. MY PICK: Luis Campos Thank you guys and hope to have some solid discussions and share some memorable moments for then next coming years. And remember: BLUE IS THE COLOR (always has and will be)

May 4, 20188 yr Author Hahaha Munkworth....i really hope not LOL But I don't think i could of had a better first match. It was probably my second or third time watching football in my entire life and I went to the bar with a friend of mine who was a Barcelona fan. The emotions, the fire amongst the players, the match drama, and the environment the Chelsea fans created at the bar, and of course the beer...there's nothing else like your first match. On a side note, that day I found myself in the middle of a few scuffles, me a guy that was calling Drogba "Big D"and didn't understand why they couldn't sub people in and out throughout the game. (I grew up on basketball so it was somewhat justified)
