Everton away travel and parking

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm unable to post on the travel forum probably due to this being my first post, but if it can be moved there then great.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of parking near Stamford Bridge when going on the official coaches to away games? I'm heading to Everton away in December and looking to get the coach from the ground once they're announced. Problem is that it'll probably be a 5.30am departure which means driving to the Bridge and leaving the car somewhere near there.

Does anyone know of car parks etc which don't charge a fortune or free parking even if it means walking 20mins? No trains for me that early unfortunately.

TIA

If you go south of the river over Albert Bridge Road there is street parking there and that is about a 20-25 minute walk to the ground. It is street parking though so not as secure as a car park but i have parked there a few times and never had any issues.

Cheers mate. Looks as though it's a 5am coach departure from the Bridge and a 3am rise for my 13 year old son. Not sure how that's gonna go down with him!

A mate of mine went online a couple of years ago and found house near ground where they rent there driveway for day, they went to Sunderland away and left about 6am and didn't return till 1:30am but it was fine

Many thanks for this. Have now done the same for a small fee, so problem solved.
