I’ve been following European football for a short time and would like to know. If there were a Top 5, what would be the main trophies an English team like Chelsea could win?? Here in Brazil, it would be

1. CWC .... big gap … 2. Libertadores 3. Brasileirão 4. Copa do Brasil 5. State Championship.

And a second question: who is Chelsea’s biggest rival?? On some sites, I read that it’s Spurs and on others, Arsenal.

Welcome.

1. Subjective but for me it’s Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League.

I feel like pre-2000s fan prioritise domestic trophies more than European ones but happy to be proven wrong.

2. Again subjective and changes. Through the Abramovich years it was probably Liverpool because we always seemed to play them in every competition.

The tradition rivalry’s, for me, it Tottenham before Arsenal.

Also massive thanks to Brazil for producing Thiago Silva, a brilliant player and a complete gentlemen too.

Brazilian championship is incredible. His team, Fluminense, is one tie away from reaching its second consecutive Libertadores final and runs a serious risk of being relegated at the end of the season. It's difficult to find a championship where something like this happens.

Wigan win the FA Cup and are relegated the same year., 2012-2013.

Rivalries are complicated, all big London teams, Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham.

Liverpool and Manchester Utd due to big support and success over the decades with self-righteous attitudes, Arsenal a bit similar too on this point.

Man City not a rivalry yet under suspicions of using money to buy success covertly, Pep also builds very good teams.

Millwall an old local rivalry, we won't know how much this is still a factor until our next cup pairing. In previous meetings there have been a lot of fights.

Hi Welcome.

For me it has to be the PL  then CL,  FA cup, League cup, Europa League.

I'm an older fan and since our Cup Final loss to Tottenham in 1967 it's always been them as hated rivals.

Thanks for all the fantastic Brazilian players and World Cup teams over the years.

Btw ..What's your opinion of the young Estevao that we have signed and looking forward to seeing him next season ?

I know exactly how it is. My team, Palmeiras, also won the Copa do Brasil, the equivalent of the FA Cup, and got relegated in the same year, 2012. It sucks.

As a Palmeiras fan, I can say that I’m really going to miss him hahaha. In my opinion, and in the opinion of most of our fans, he is better than Endrick. Very skilled. I think part of the reason we were eliminated from the Copa do Brasil is because he was injured during those days and couldn’t play.

In the last match, he left the field injured again. And he’ll be out for a while. That might be a problem.

It seems that this time it was just a twisted ankle, nothing too serious. But it's concerning because it's already the third or fourth minor injury he's had this season. I don't know what's wrong with him, but at the European level, he will struggle a lot if this continues.

Thanks for the info.

Does he get a lot of rough treatment from the opposition?

I hope the lad comes through the season relatively unharmed.

Can't wait to see him play in a Chelsea shirt.

Thanks 👍

By South American football standards, he is well above average, so I think it's natural that he suffers a lot against defenders. Not to mention that some of the South American defenders are quite tough. But it's frustrating in an important game not to be able to count on the one who is by far the best player on the team.

The fact that he is going to play for Chelsea is what motivated me to learn about the club, its history, rivals, and so on.
