As mentioned in the Cup Final thread I won't be at Wembley but will be at the Bridge. After the women's game the Cup Final will be shown on the big screens in the ground and the bars in the West Lower will be open. Strange as it may seem I'll probably abstain from drinking beer. That is because the beer served in the Bridge is bloody awful.

Hopefully I can get my work finished & be home in time for this.

Second half wasn't as good as the first but always good to beat Manchester United. Great send offs for Millie and Sam. Two great players. Great also that Millie has her picture on the wall. Thoroughly deserved.

Hopefully I'm wrong but whilst the players did the lap of honour I had the impression that Niamh could be on her way. Something in her body language. Again, I hope I'm wrong.

Popped into the Walham Green Wetherspoons pub before the game and met a guy I used to work with and hadn't seen for a few years. Good to catch up with.

After the match I stayed to watch the Cup Final and got chatting to a woman who lives not far from me. We talked about some of the local pubs. She mentioned that she has a season ticket for the Women's team and a membership for the men's. Mentioned that she finds it more and more difficult to get tickets for the men's games and she's been following the club for fifty years.
