Chelsea Women v Real Sociedad Femenino. Women's Champions League. Wednesday, 26 August 18.45

Game will be played at AFC Wimbledon's ground at Plough Lane. It's well over thirty years since I was last there. Place has changed a lot. As far as I can tell the game won't be broadcast. I'll be going to the game.

At £7 a pint in the ground I decided not to buy a beer. Will wait until I'm back in town for a pint at my favourite pub in London i.e. The Harp.

A fine result and some very good performances. Thought Nusken played really well. Strength in depth as well. A three goals cushion should see us through to the group stage. Hannah couldn't do much about their two goals.

Impressed by Malard with her 2 goals after coming on around 55 minutes.

The level of refs in the Champions League needs to be better, I'll leave it at that.

On about a dozen occasions last night our players were flagged offside. Can't believe that each of the offside calls was correct. @Scott agree Malard was very impressive. Carpenter also played well.

What got me was the throw in, right next to the lino as well, were the Sociedad player had 1 foot on the pitch when she threw the ball in.

I saw that throw in and couldn't believe that lino didn't call it a foul throw and Chelsea given the throw to take.

I think that the return leg this Wednesday will only be broadcast via the Chelsea App.
