Posted October 26, 200717 yr Portsmouth's plans for a new stadium by the sea have been sunk by the Royal Navy. The stadium, which would have jutted into the harbour, cuts into a naval exclusion zone. Pompey are now planning to build a new home on top of a rubbish tip near Port Solent.
October 26, 200717 yr thats a shame that, because it looked like it could be one of the truly outstanding looking sports stadiums in the world. Real shame.

Obviously it's simply a matter of "transporting" the building itself. These objects are planed to "fit" and to "live" on the spot, but I deprehend that there wil be another decent place, probably one similar (near the harbour or the seashore ?). I don't know the place, mind you.
October 27, 200717 yr I do hope they find somewhere else to build it, seems such a shame to not go through with such an original design.
