Played 2 seasons for Benfica where Koeman met him.

Due to an ocasional lack of RB's there (Benfica) Koeman had him playing in that spot where he managed to perform very decently, but was never an automatic choice as CB. (3rd choice behind Luis?o and Ricardo Rocha)

Koeman then - after leaving Benfica - took him along to PSV.

I don't think he'll be coming to Chelsea. More probably he'll be sold to PSV or another club.

How did he convince the kidnappers?

They gave him a ball and said "show us some tricks".

He tried but failed after numerous tries.

He said "I am a footballer, really".

Kidnappers didn't believe him and released him. I feel sorry for the lad.
