- Semi-proven goalscorer (ie only at international level, doesn't really have a great record in Germany either)

- Has really great attributes; good pace, skill on the ball. Great shooting technique.

- Plays better as link striker to a main centre-forward.

- Not afraid to try the spectacular.

- Young

- On the outer for Bayern at the moment.

- Big reputation + Bayern = potentially big $$$

- Is still young and may not want to test himself outside Germany yet

- Is already at a club he idolises, playing with a good partner (Klose)

I was just impressed that he is the kind of striker that actually runs at defenders successfully, not like Drogba or Shevchenko who stumble over the ball. He is the kind of player that can really lead a counter-attack, playing as a link between midfield and attack.

He's been injured quite a bit at both this year and last. Last year he was also benched because he'd complained to the press about the coach. His play and goalscoring has been affected by his injury status and Klose and Toni's preferred inclusion on the squad. He's still unseasoned and immature. In two or three years time, I think he could be a very good choice depending on how he matures.
