The site received an email from Matt Waring that is putting on an event that will be of interest to every Chelsea fan. Details of the event as follows. As you will read, the event is for a great cause, so would be fantastic if The Shed End could give Matt and his company some backing.

Calling all Chelsea Fans – Bid for your chance to play at Stamford Bridge on 30th May 2008

Ever wanted to play football on the pitch at Stamford Bridge? Now is your chance to do so and support Chelsea’s national charity partner, CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity.

You can play as an individual in an eleven-a-side charity football match in either Kerry Dixon’s or John Hollins’ team or you can enter a team for the CLIC Sargent six-a-side Challenge Trophy to be played in the evening. Both events will be hosted by many Chelsea legends and other celebrities and are a must for any Chelsea fan who believes they can kick a ball! Players in both events are also invited to enter the Peter Bonetti Penalty Shootout Competition.

To place your bid please call Matt Waring on 0845 888 8884 or email mwaring@footballnights.co.uk for more details.

Well, this is awkward!

The Shed End Forum relies on revenue to pay for hosting and upgrades. While we try to keep adverts as unobtrusive as possible without pop ups, we need to run ad's to make sure we can stay online and continue to keep the forum up, as over the years costs have become very high.

Could you please allow adverts on this domain by switching it off. Some of the advert banners can actually be closed to avoid interferance of your experience on The Shed End.

Cheers now!

Sure, let me in!
