Gem
As someone who doesn't have Chelsea TV, I was wondering, for those of you who do have it, is Chelsea Plus worth the £40 a year/£4 a month asking price? What features do you get with it? Thanks.

Thanks. it's nowhere near as good as it should be, and it doesn't have any games before the premiership began, but it's worth it because they show every game we play in the season at midnight the following day- so about half a day later (or sunday if its a sturday game), and then again in the afternoon the next day. so you'll get to see every game we play regardless of whether it was originally televised. that's particularly good if you don't have a season ticket, and they also show lots of classic games (though sadly not before 92/93). there are your standard features and phone ins which I think are areas that can be improved, and they need to sort out the tv rights for the old games. but that's chelsea tv- not sure what chelsea plus is. Trailblazer
if i subscribe chelsea plus can i watch from pc ? like streaming I guess so. I subscribed for Chelsea Plus only a few days back on a monthly basis. They would show the pre-season games live I think. Apart from that they have the regular stuff like match highlights, interviews and news etc. You can either download the videos or watch it onsite. I had it for the 2nd half of the 06/07 season...it would come in handy if I couldn't get a game to get Kerry Dixon doing the commentary. Much better than the trash commentators that I hear over in America for the games. If I was really up for it I would sync up Dixon over the game. Yes...I'm a geek :)
Jimboola69
I pay £6!!! We are coming up to the best time on CTV. You will get to see all the pre-season friendlies LIVE. This year i think we are China, Singapore (or Malaysia) and Russia. Much cheaper than air travel. :(
Blair Blue
I too pay £6 per month for Chelsea TV but notice that a number of clubs provide a free TV channel, e.g. Arsenal, Liverpool, Celtic, Rangers, Real Madrid - not that I want to watch them! Only Manchester United and Chelsea seem to require a subscription. Should we be lobbying about this? Living in Scotland and rarely getting to games, I find Chelsea TV helpful in keeping in touch with club activity. I get irked by the phone in shows, where the same select fans seem to get on air week after week. The presenters are all quite good, apart from Jason Cundy, who is so full of himself and forever interupting guests and callers. I haven't seen Neil Barnett on air recently - is he on holiday or has he been axed? On a related subject, I find the club website not particularly user friendly, although I gather it has been revamped recently. I also support Charlton Athletic and their club website is far superior to the Chelsea one.
